THE MUJI STORY

Mujirushi Ryohin, MUJI in Japanese, translates as “no-brand quality goods.” Originally founded in Japan in 1980, it offers a wide variety of good quality products including household goods, apparel and food. It is based on three core principles, which remain unchanged to this day.

MUJI is currently taking steps to increase the proportion of organic cotton used in its cotton products.

Organic cotton refers to raw cotton naturally grown in healthy soil that has not used pesticides and chemical fertilizers for more than 3 years.

Although organic cotton can't be produced effectively in large quantities, it is good for both people and the environment.
